🟣 Here's our map of the best Korean restaurants in Paris, sorted by dish — based on what you're craving right now. No catch-all top 10: for every craving, the right address. A barbecue to share, ultra-crisp fried chicken, a comforting bowl of noodles or a true insider's dish — you'll know exactly where to go. We ate everywhere for you, and these are the addresses Koreans share among themselves.
Street food — 분식.
When you want to snack and share, K-drama style.
Mashil — 24 place Étienne Pernet, 75015 (Félix Faure metro). Their signature: jeukseok tteokbokki, the pot simmered at your table (noodles, egg, sausage) with your choice of sauce — original, rosé, jjajang or mala. Try the Korean-style tonkatsu too. Halal chicken and beef.
Barbecue — 고기.
Two schools, depending on the occasion.
Hwaro Grill — 58 rue de la Croix-Nivert, 75015. The authentic neighbourhood spot: marinated meat, generous banchan, Seoul vibes.
Soon Grill — 78 rue des Tournelles, 75003 (Marais; also Champs-Élysées). The refined, Michelin-listed version by chef Sunghak Han: build your own "perfect bite".
Fried chicken — 치킨.
Real Korean fried chicken: double-fried, glazed, impossibly crisp.
Olive Chicken — 46 rue de Richelieu, 75001. Ultra-crisp dakgangjeong.
Dongne Chicken — 51 rue de Richelieu, 75001. Loud and casual, perfect for chimaek (chicken + beer).
Korean-Chinese noodles — 중식.
중식 is Chinese food filtered through Korea — ultimate comfort. Two must-knows: jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup).
Songsan — 20 rue Marmontel, 75015. The chef ran a jjajang spot back in Korea — you can taste it. Great bossam and tangsuyuk.
Sam So — 34 rue de Richelieu, 75001. Hand-pulled noodles daily; grab a bar seat if you are in a hurry.
Paldo — 15 rue Lagrange, 75005 (near Notre-Dame). The Korean community's favourite — come early, there is often a queue.
Soondae — 순대.
The true insider dish: soondae, Korean blood sausage (glass noodles + blood), stir-fried (soondae bokkeum) or in soup (soondae-guk). Rare in Paris.
Sambuja — 65 rue du Faubourg Montmartre, 75009. One of the only spots in Paris for soondae-guk.
The JARI tip.
Book ahead for BBQ on weekends, arrive early everywhere else, and never skip the banchan: the best places are judged by their kimchi. Prices and hours change — check the day before.
