3 days in Paris: the perfect route

Three days in Paris with the JARI community

The right pace, the right neighbourhoods, the bookings not to forget: ask the community and JARI pros.

Day 1 — The icons

The classic core: Notre-Dame and the Île de la Cité in the morning, the Louvre in the afternoon (guide), Tuileries and Concorde, then the Eiffel Tower at the end of the day for sunset and the sparkle (guide). A Seine dinner cruise is a nice option.

Day 2 — Art & the Marais

Morning at the Musée d’Orsay (Impressionists), then cross into the Marais (guide): Place des Vosges, Musée Carnavalet (free), falafel on rue des Rosiers, shopping and brunch. In the evening, apéro and neighbourhood bars.

Day 3 — Montmartre & hip Paris (or Versailles)

Morning in Montmartre (guide): Sacré-Cœur, lanes, Maison Rose. In the afternoon, dive into East Paris (guide) — Canal Saint-Martin, Belleville, street art and canteens. Variant: give this third day to a Versailles day trip (guide).

Optimise

  • Closing days: Louvre (Tue), Orsay & Versailles (Mon), Musée Picasso (Mon). Build your plan around them.
  • Transport: a weekly Navigo pass (or day tickets) covers all of Paris.
  • Bookings: Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Versailles are booked online, often days ahead in high season.

JARI tip

Alternate a “big hit” in the morning (museum, monument) with a neighbourhood to wander in the afternoon: you avoid burnout and see the real Paris between the icons.
