The kid must-dos.

The Jardin d’Acclimatation (Bois de Boulogne): rides, a farm, a mini-park. The Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie (La Villette) and its Cité des Enfants, brilliant for curious minds. The Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes (Paris’s oldest zoo).

Fresh air & a snack.

Big parks to run around: Luxembourg (toy sailboats on the pond, ponies), Buttes-Chaumont, Tuileries (carousel). And a waffle or crêpe to go.

The “wow” day: Disneyland Paris.

By RER A (≈40 min from the centre) or TGV, a day at Disneyland is the little ones’ dream. Book tickets online ahead.

JARI tip.

With kids, alternate a “big” site in the morning and a park in the afternoon (see our 3 days). Bring a light stroller (lots of walking), and aim for museum opening times to avoid the crowds. The Navigo pass also covers Disneyland (zone 5).
