The afternoon.

A hand-in-hand walk along the Berges de Seine, a turn in the Jardin du Luxembourg, then sunset from the Montmartre hill (guide) or a free rooftop (viewpoints).

The evening.

A Seine cruise at dusk (Bateaux-Mouches, Vedettes du Pont-Neuf) is still the great classic. Then a tête-à-tête dinner in the Marais or Saint-Germain, and the highlight: the Eiffel Tower sparkle from the Trocadéro (Eiffel Tower guide).

The most photogenic spots for two.

The Pont Alexandre III (Paris’s most beautiful bridge), the Place des Vosges under the arcades, and Montmartre’s cobbled lanes at dawn.

JARI tip.

Book the dinner ahead (the best tables go fast). For the sparkle, be at the Trocadéro 10 min before the hour. And skip the “love locks” on the bridges: they’re banned and the railings are removed.
