Getting around Paris with the JARI community

Which ticket, how to reach the airport, which app: ask the community and JARI pros.

Tickets (2026 fares)

Since 2024, the fare is unified within Paris: a metro/RER ticket costs €2.55 (bus/tram: €2.05). Load them on a Navigo Easy pass or straight onto your phone (Navigo on iPhone/Android). For a busy day, the Navigo Jour day pass (€12.30) pays off from 5 trips.

The Navigo pass (multi-day stays)

The weekly Navigo (all zones) costs €32.40 and covers all of Île-de-France, airports included — Monday to Sunday. Worth it from ≈3 intense sightseeing days. You need a small photo and the card (€5).

To/from the airports

  • CDG: the RER B (≈35 min, €14 airport ticket) or the Roissybus to Opéra. By taxi, a regulated flat fare: ≈€56 (Right Bank) / €65 (Left Bank).
  • Orly: métro Line 14 (automatic, direct, since 2024) or the Orlybus/Orlyval. €14 airport ticket. Flat taxi fare: ≈€44 (Right Bank) / €36 (Left Bank).
  • The all-zones Navigo pass includes airport trips.

The right apps

Bonjour RATP and Citymapper give you routes, real-time times and disruptions. Essential.

JARI tip

Don’t take a “taxi” that touts for you in the airport hall: use the official taxi queue (flat fare) or a booked ride-hail. And keep your phone firmly in hand on the métro, especially lines 1, 4 and the RER B (tourists = targets).
