JARI

A space for life in France, built together with the Korean community

Why we built JARI

Koreans arriving in France almost always look for information the same way: a blog post written years ago, scattered group chats, private groups that no search will surface. The information exists, but it is not gathered anywhere and it is not kept up to date. JARI aims to bring it together in one place and keep it current.

Who it's for

  • Students
  • Working holiday participants
  • Expatriate staff and employees
  • Those settled with their family
  • Those running a business in France
  • And travellers visiting France

The Korean community in France in numbers

  • 27,055 people

27,055 overseas Koreans live in France (as of 31 December 2022).

  • 2,375 students

In 2024-2025, 2,375 Korean students were enrolled in France, 26% fewer than in 2019.

If the numbers are falling, it also means that accurate information and real connections matter even more for the community that remains.

What we commit to

  • The legal existence of businesses and professionals is verified before publication.
  • Advertising is labelled as advertising.
  • We do not sell personal data.
  • Information essential to daily life stays free.
